With over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, Steve heads up our experienced and fully qualified adviser team. With an emphasis on building long term relationships based on trust and transparency, Steve prides himself on being approachable and ethical. Financial advice can be complicated and often interlink and overlap so pulling the threads together is often essential. As our clients keep coming back and referring their friends and family, it seems that we must be doing something right! Providing a high standard of personal and professional service is of utmost importance to Steve. Reputations take a long time to build so it is important that our team of advisers and administrators understand this and seek to further develop the relationships with our clients.
Steve is fiercely protective of the firm’s good name and commits to explaining complex solutions in plain English.
Now celebrating his 27th year in the Financial Services Industry, Danny started his career in financial services with Canada Life Assurance in 1993. Although he spent a short time working as a financial adviser in the Wealth Management and Corporate Planning teams at Lloyds Bank, he has worked for the majority of his career as an Independent Financial Adviser, and more recently as a Restricted Plus Financial Adviser, believing that from this position he can better offer his clients tailored, comprehensive and appropriate advice and service. Over this time, he has helped his clients develop a financial plan of action that suits their individual circumstances and by regularly monitoring progress, work towards and achieve their financial goals. He is keen to emphasise that whilst the greatest benefits can be achieved the earlier a plan is put into place, it’s never too late to make your money work harder for you. Danny is qualified to provide a complete financial planning service to individuals, including advice on savings and investments, pensions and retirement planning, all aspects of protection, mortgages, Equity Release and Long Term Care. He is also experienced in providing advice to corporate clients to meet their protection, retirement planning and employee benefits requirements.
Danny is Cardiff born and bred and lives in North Cardiff with his wife, Adele (who works at FPB Ltd as his Business Support Manager) and two teenage sons. His favourite leisure pursuits are spending time with family and friends, the cinema, working out, watching sport, especially football and rugby and travelling.

Helena has been with the company since 2004 and as our Business Support Officer, she demonstrates her experience by delivering our client proposition and overseeing all our administrative processes. She is responsible for administering and monitoring all the new business applications, whether for pensions, investments, mortgages or for our protection work. This ensures they are delegated and managed effectively.
Helena works closely with case managers, solicitors and lenders and she is technically very able, which is becoming increasingly important given our increasing reliance on technology.
Having worked in the industry for many years, it is pleasing to report that Helena has now attained the full mortgage “CeMAP” qualification so as to enable her to advise clients in her own right. Her desire to develop her skill set is demonstrated by her study toward the Equity Release licence, thereby complementing and supporting Steve in this increasingly important area of financial services.
Having been at the forefront of developing the business for over 20 years, Steve has recently decided to relinquish his licences to remain as a financial adviser so that he may enjoy more leisure activities. He will however remain as an employed consultant, providing support and experience to our adviser community.
Steve’s knowledge will provide the business with a valuable resource to call upon but as he will no longer be able to advise clients, he will remain purely in an administrative role but with oversight on ensuring we continue to look after the interests of his former clients.
Donna joined Financial Planning Business Ltd in March 2018 and has over 29 years’ experience within the financial services industry as an Administrator. Donna is responsible for collating and processing client information, conducting research on behalf of the advisers and liaising with clients as she processes client recommendations. She has a keen eye for detail and her focus on client support makes her a great addition to the team. Donna initially started her financial services career in 1991, working at Eagle Star in Cardiff, before joining Campbell Associates Independent Financial Advisers in 1993 where she worked as an Administrator for 20 years, until the firm merged with Bevan Charles Ltd in 2013.
Donna lives just outside Cardiff with her husband, Martin and their two daughters. When she is not working, Donna enjoys spending time with her family, reading and lots of walks with their dog.
Adele joined Financial Planning Business Ltd in March 2018. Her financial services career started 28 years ago as an Administrator for Campbell Associates Independent Financial Advisers, followed by Business Development Manager roles at Britannia Building Society and later Norwich Union (now Aviva). After her first son was born, she returned to Campbell Associates in the role of Office Manager and has remained in similar roles ever since. Her current role of Business Support Manager for Danny includes gathering of client information and provision of research, compliance checking of files, liaison with clients, administration and helping to ensure that clients are well informed, comfortable with proceedings and provided with a smooth, efficient service. She holds the CII Financial Planning Certificate (FPS), as well as the Mortgage Advice Qualification (MAQ) and Equity Release certificate. She is currently working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS).
Adele was born in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire and moved to Cardiff permanently in 1989. She now lives in North Cardiff with her husband, Danny and two teenage sons. Her favourite leisure pursuits are socialising with family and friends, trips to the cinema, keeping fit and travelling (especially abroad)!
Graeme is a welcome addition to our back-office administration team and whilst he is unable to offer advice on regulated matters at this time, his experience simply adds to the wealth of knowledge that the business can offer.
Graeme has been active within the financial services sector for over 40 years and is always looking at ways to use his knowledge in a personal and considered manner whilst fostering relationships with clients and professional contacts.
As an Administrator within the business, Graeme’s role includes liaison between clients and our advisers, managing relationships and providing assistance on non-regulated matters. He recognises that the relationship between the adviser and the client is the most important aspect of the financial planning process, and he does all that he can to assist us in this area.
In addition to this aspect of his role, he is looking forward to assisting the firm develop further, their range of advice and research in areas such as Ethical and Social governance investments, as well as providing support in the more complex Inheritance Tax Planning and Equity Release arenas.
